Ludwig (Louis) Wilhelm Seecamp, after whom the company was named, trained as a master gunsmith in Germany before World War II. During the war, he survived a firefight with a Russian soldier on the Eastern Front when he upholstered and shot his opponent without stopping to look through the sights. This event shaped his views on the practicality of point shooting and eventually led to his patenting of a double-action conversion for his Colt .45 1911, that went on to inspire the LWS-32.
The LWS-32 has a tiny overall size including a barrel of only 2.06". The stainless steel construction gives the small pistol a level of heft to mitigate recoil. It also includes a 6-round magazine.
Most notably, the LWS-32 has no sights at all. It is an ultra-specialized pistol intended for extreme close-range defensive draw-and-fire, or point shooting, and less of a range-bound target pistol.
