The Schrade Viper Out the Front knives are rugged and ready to deploy at a moment's notice. The Out The Front knife is not an automatic, but features an assisted opening mechanism being deployed using a thumb slider which manually starts the blade movement until the spring assisted mechanism takes over. Manual retraction of the blade is made easy by a blade release button and slider.
The blades are made of high quality 4034 Stainless Steel, providing unquestioned performance and longevity. The rugged and reliable aluminum handle features a black finish and fits in the hand nicely and is built to last. A glass breaker and tip down pocket clip can also be found on the handle and help to maximize the tool's functionality.
