The Pioneer Arms Sporter Under Folder is a compact AK rifle that is perfect for target practice and or home defense while being compact enough for close quarters. This model of the Sporter is chambered in 7.62x39mm and is modeled after the AKMS with the underfolder giving the user the ability to utilize the folding stock for accurate shooting, while also allowing them to fold the stock under the receiver for a more compact package that can still be fired in this position. The Sporter AK is made with a forged trunnion for maximum strength and longevity. The rifle features AKM style furniture and sights lending to a wide variety of aftermarket options to choose from. The Sporter features an enlarged magazine release that makes for easier magazine changes and more positive retention. This particular model doesn't come with the side rail for the addition of optics.
