The LWRC IC-DI Pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO is based on the rifle submitted to the US Military M4 PIP program to meet their strict requirements for a more user friendly, reliable and adaptable M4 Platform. Among these requirements was  the need for a longer barrel life, more reliable bolt carrier group, and a user configurable rail system. While the military's requirements morphed and changed with no winner chosen, the advanced technology created to meet those requirements is now available to you in this uniquely advanced AR pistol platform. Most noticeable is the Nickle Born coated LWRCI direct Impingement bolt carrier with it's integral "tombstone" design which provided increased strength and the reduced possibility of gas loss. The IC-DI Pistol is fully ambidextrous with an ambi magazine release, bolt release, safety selector, and charging handle. All internal parts including  LWRCIs enhanced fore control group are Nickle Boron coated for corrosion resistance and reduced friction between parts. The upper and lower receivers are forged 7075 T6 aluminum and the tension between upper and lower receivers is adjustable to remove any play or rattle. Should you be so inclined to make a change in the future, the lower is compatible with LWRCI piston driven uppers for a drop in upgrade. LWRCs modular, one piece, M-Lok compatible free float rail allow plenty of room for accessories. Rail panels and a handstop are included. Out back, an adjustable SBA-3 Tactical Pistol Brace provides stability for one handed use. The LWRC IC-DI Pistol is built from the inside out to be the most advanced, reliable AR pistol on the market.
