Born of the Traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the Legendary Single Action Army Revolver, only in a scaled down version. The Rough Rider is a 6 round western style revolver based off the Colt SAA design with a 4.75” barrel chambered in 22LR and 22 magnum. The single action Rough Rider features a fixed front and notched rear sights that is ideal for target plinking or managing pests around the property. These beautiful revolvers combine the same classic look and feel of their big bore cousins with the low cost of rimfire ammunition providing hours of fun at a very low cost with virtually no recoil. The Heritage Rough Rider has a thumb safety located at the left rear of the frame that prevents the hammer from striking the cartridge until the shooter is ready to fire.
This model features 2 cylinders with the ability to shoot either 22LR or 22 WMR and features a black oxide finish with poly stars grip. For those who are interested in a western style revolver that is great for plinking should check out the Heritage Rough Rider series of revolvers.
